REDDITCH United defender Lewis Hudson has turned the offer of a new contract to move to an unnamed step two club.
The left-back has been an ever present in Matt Clarke’s side since his arrival at the Trico Stadium two seasons ago.
Hudson memorably scored the winning goal in Redditch’s 2-0 derby win against Bromsgrove last season and his departure is a blow to the club’s preparations for the new season.
Hudson said: “It’s been an absolute pleasure playing for Redditch United these past two seasons, the progress we’ve made in a short space of time was massive and I’m sure it will continue.
“I would like to thank Matt Clarke and the rest of the staff for a fantastic two years. Also, the support from the fans has not gone unnoticed and has helped me massively whilst being at the club.”
