MATTY Warburton scored a late equaliser as Redditch United drew 1-1 against bottom of the table Stamford.
Warburton drew the Reds level nine minutes from time after Kyle Rowley’s early goal put the home side ahead at the Zeeco Stadium.
The result means Redditch sit eighth in the Southern League Premier Central table.
Stamford broke the deadlock on 19 minutes when Rowley headed in Harry Vince’s corner at the back post.
However, the Reds drew level on 81 minutes as Warburton finished off a flowing move with a deft touch from close range.
Redditch are next in action against Buxton in the FA Cup on Saturday, September 13 with kick-off at 3pm at the Tarmac Silverlands Stadium.
