NEW Redditch United manager Mike Fowler has confirmed a number of backroom staff appointments ahead of the 2025/26 campaign.
Fowler replaced Matt Clarke in the Valley Stadium dugout after the Reds secured survival on the final day of the 2024/25 season.
And Fowler has appointed former Alvechurch boss Jimmy Fry as his assistant manager.
Fry guided Alvechurch to Worcestershire Senior Cup success in 2023/24 and kept the club in the Southern League Premier Central.
The 30-year-old retired early from playing following spells with Leamington, Kidderminster Harriers, Stratford Town, Bromsgrove Sporting and Tamworth.
Goalkeeping coach Dan Scott and physio Auz Shah will remain at the club under Fowler.
Fowler has also added first team analyst Dylan Scott and first team scout and head of recruitment Ben Faulkner to his coaching staff.
Fowler said: “I am delighted that Jimmy has joined us, he will bring great experience, knowledge and professionalism to our staff structure.
“His attention to detail and standards mirror my expectations and he is a fantastic person. I’m really looking forward to working with him.
“I have had good conversations with Auz and Dan about the season ahead.
“Both have shown a great appetite for improving all areas of their departments and I believe they will be integral to our success on and off the pitch.
“Dylan Scott joins as first team analyst, having previously worked at Alvechurch. Dylan has some great ideas and an incredible work ethic.
“Ben Faulkner joins us as first team scout and head of recruitment.
“He has a fantastic network within the non-league circuit and has a keen eye for talented players. He will have a pivotal role in how we develop over the next few years.”
The club have confirmed the departures of former assistant manager Keron Jackson and first team coach Simon Johnson.
