REDDITCH United have released defender Aaron Roberts for an apparent breach of the club’s code of conduct.
The defender only joined the club from local rivals Bromsgrove Sporting earlier this summer.
However, Redditch have now terminated the defender’s contract following a ‘reported incident’ concerning the centre-back earlier this week.
A club statement reads: “Redditch United can confirm that Aaron Roberts has been released from the club following a reported incident earlier this week.
“As a club, we are committed to upholding the highest standards of behaviour and conduct, and this decision reflects our responsibility to protect those values.
“No further comments will be made.”
Roberts helped the Reds to the club’s biggest-ever derby win against rivals Sporting on bank holiday Monday.
However, he has now departed the club just five games into the 2025/26 Southern League Premier Central season.
