REDDITCH United returned to winning ways with a 2-0 victory against struggling Stamford.
A penalty from Matty Warburton put the Reds ahead before Liam Loughlan sealed the points for the home side deep into injury time at the Valley Stadium.
The result means United sit fourth in the Southern League Premier Central table, four points clear of the chasing pack in the race for a top-five finish.
Redditch took the lead on 34 minutes when Warburton scored from the penalty spot after Loughlan’s mazy run drew a foul in the box.
And the Reds sealed the points deep into injury time as Loughlan raced through and coolly found the bottom left corner of the goal when one-on-one with Stamford stopper Tom Jackson.
Redditch are next in action against AFC Sudbury on Saturday, December 20 with kick-off at 3pm at the Valley Stadium.
The game is free entry to all.
