REDDITCH United have confirmed the signing of goalkeeper Rory Brown after the shot-stopper impressed between the sticks in pre-season.
The 26-year-old played the full 90 minutes in Redditch’s pre-season win against Evesham United.
And United announced the transfer prior to their 2-2 draw against Long Eaton United in the club’s latest pre-season outing.
Reds boss Mike Fowler expressed the club’s need to sign a goalkeeper after beating Chasetown 1-0 in the club’s pre-season opener.
Brown spent much of the 2025/26 season with Redditch’s local rivals Bromsgrove Sporting before departing the Rouslers at the end of the previous campaign.
He initially joined Sporting on loan from National League side Solihull Moors before making the move permanent in January earlier this year.
Brown joined Moors ahead of the start of the 2025/26 season following a spell with Northern Irish side Coleraine where he made 47 appearances.
He spent time in the academy of Wolverhampton Wanderers and featured for Coleraine, Glentoran, Institute and Ballinamallard United in his native Northern Ireland.
