REDDITCH United star Johnny Johnston has completed a move to National League North side Buxton for an undisclosed fee.
The Reds confirmed Johnston’s departure prior to their 3-2 victory against league leaders Kettering Town last weekend.
Johnston scored twice in his final appearance for the club to take his tally to 11 goals in the Southern League Premier Central this season.
And the 21-year-old has now finalised a move to Buxton after the National League North side triggered a release clause in the forward’s contract.
Johnston made it clear he wanted to return to full time football following a stint with Blackpool at the start of his career.
Buxton play one level above the Reds and sit 10th in the National League North table, four points outside of the play-off places.
