SPORTING Club Inkberrow returned to winning ways with victory against Bashley following defeat against Shaftesbury in a five-goal thriller.
Sporting beat Bashley 1-0 at Sands Road in midweek as Jake Waterfield’s goal proved decisive while Inkberrow had Max Martin sent off after the break.
That came after Inkberrow lost 3-2 at home against Shaftesbury as Leo Brown and Jay Higgins-Pugsley found the net for the hosts.
However, goals from Tobias Holmes, Harry Morgan and Charlie Burden earned the points for the visitors.
The results mean Inkberrow sit 12th in the Southern League Division One South table.
Sporting Club Inkberrow are next in action against Exmouth Town on Saturday, November 8 with kick-off at 3pm at Southern Road.
