SPORTING Club Inkberrow played out a goalless draw with Hereford Pegasus to move back into the play-off places.
Both teams had chances to win the game but failed to convert in a stalemate at Old School Lane.
The result means Inkberrow sit fourth in the Hellenic League Premier Division table.
Sporting made a lively start as Jack Tolley pulled a shot wide of the post after causing mayhem down the right.
Inkberrow goalkeeper Gabriel Bajrami then produced a stunning acrobatic save to keep out a header from close range.
Just before the break, Hereford hit the post with a shot from the edge of the penalty area as Inkberrow scrambled the ball to safety.
The visitors went close to an opener after half time as substitute Will Skelton headed Tolley’s cross wide with neither side able to find a winner.
Sporting Club Inkberrow are next in action against Brimscombe and Thrupp on Saturday, October 5 with kick-off at 3pm at Sands Road.
