SPORTING Club Inkberrow romped to a 5-1 win against bottom of the table Chipping Sodbury Town to extend their winning run in the league to four matches.
Max-Emilios Angelides scored twice with Luke Allcock, Louis McDonald and Bill Coughlin also on target at the Inkberrow Recreation Ground.
The result means Inkberrow sit fifth in the Hellenic League Division One table, eight points behind leaders Malmesbury Victoria with two games in hand.
Berrow broke the deadlock midway through the first half when Coughlin found space and time down the left-hand side before picking out Alcock for a tap in at the back post.
And the home side doubled their lead just before half time when McDonald headed home Alex Quaynor’s corner.
Berrow wrapped up the points in the second half as Coughlin scored a header before Angelides netted a brace and the visitors grabbed a consolation goal from the penalty spot through Jensen Mannings.
Inkberrow are next in action at home to Long Crendon on Tuesday, October 3 with kick-off at 7.45pm at the Inkberrow Recreation Ground.
