SPORTING Club Inkberrow stretched their unbeaten to 10 matches with a 3-1 victory away at Longlevens AFC.
Goals from Max-Emilios Angelides, Jack Tolley and Will Skelton sealed an impressive win for the visitors at Saw Mills End.
The result means Inkberrow sit third in the Hellenic League Premier Division table, six points behind leaders Hartpury University who have two games in-hand.
Sporting controlled the game from the off and broke the deadlock on 10 minutes when Angelides’ free-kick from the left evaded everyone in the box and found the net.
And the visitors doubled their lead on 22 minutes as Tolley’s early shot from 20-yards out slipped inside the post.
Inkberrow all but sealed the points after the break when Skelton collected Gregor Guy’s pass and rounded the goalkeeper before finishing from a tight angle.
Longlevens reduced the deficit on 75 minutes as Alex Knight saw his deflected shot from the edge of the penalty area find the net.
Sporting Club Inkberrow are next in action against Ludlow Town in the Wiseman Lighting Floodlit Cup on Tuesday, January 21 with kick-off at 7.45pm at Bromfield Road.
