SPORTING Club Inkberrow eased to a comfortable 4-0 victory against Long Crendon to extend their winning run to six matches in all competitions.

Luke Allcock scored a brace before Nathan Benson and Tom Emblem both found the net to seal another victory at the Inkberrow Recreation Ground.

The result means Inkberrow sit fourth in the Hellenic League Division One table, eight point behind leaders Malmesbury Victoria with two games in hand.

Inkberrow took the lead after just two minutes when Alcock intercepted a pass and produced a calm finish before doubling his tally on 26 minutes with another cool effort after a lovely passing move.

The home extended their lead before the break when Benson bundled the ball home from close range after good work from Gregor Guy and Calum Chitty.

And Emblem completed the scoring at the start of the second half after winning back possession before driving into the box and firing in off the post.

Long Crendon’s goalkeeper saw red for handing the ball outside of the penalty area with the home side unable to add to their lead in the remaining minutes.

Inkberrow are next in action at home to North Leigh Reserves in the cup on Saturday, October 7 with kick-off at 3pm at the Inkberrow Recreation Ground.
