STUDLEY’S Hannah Hampton has earned a place in the FIFPRO women’s World 11 voted for by her fellow professionals.
Hampton features in the squad for the first time and is one of six England players to make the XI.
Compatriots Millie Bright, Lucy Bronze, Leah Williamson, Chloe Kelly and Alessia Russo join Hampton in the squad.
Spain’s Ona Batlle, Aitana Bonmati and Alexia Putellas, Morocco’s Ghizlane Chebbak and Zambia’s Barbra Banda make up the rest of the team.
The 24-year-old won the best goalkeeper prize – the Yashin Trophy – at the Ballon d’Or awards earlier this year.
Hampton saved two penalties in the shootout as England beat world champions Spain on penalties to lift the UEFA Euro 2025 title in the summer.
The Chelsea goalkeeper also won a domestic treble of Women’s Super League, FA Cup and League Cup last season.
Professional footballers from 68 countries voted via a secure digital platform distributed by FIFPRO and its affiliated player unions with more than 6,000 votes cast.
For the Women’s World 11, votes covered performances from August 11 2024 to August 3 2025, with a minimum of 20 official appearances.
Each player selected three standout performers in the four positional categories: goalkeeper, defender, midfielder, and forward.
The goalkeeper, three defenders, three midfielders, and three forwards with the most votes earned selection, while the 11th spot went to the next highest-ranked outfield player overall.
The World 11 remains the only global football award decided exclusively by the players.
England were also represented in the men’s squad as Real Madrid’s Jude Bellingham and Chelsea’s Cole Palmer earned selection in the team.
