A RACING driver from Redditch will again compete in the BRSCC CityCar Cup Championship at Brands Hatch.
Alex Jackson, from Headloss Cross, will race in the prestigious event on Saturday, April 11.
The 21-year-old has raced karts since the age of eight-years-old and made the step up to car racing last year.
The CityCar Cup comprises 19 races over seven rounds with up to 40 cars on the grid at circuits around the country.
Jackson raced for a student team last year and finished 12th overall and second in the rookie class.
Local business OJW Accountancy Services sponsored Jackson to help with the costs of running his race prepared Citroen C1.
And OJW Accountancy Services will again support Jackson’s 2026 campaign where he will drive as an independent driver with the support of last year’s champion.
