NORTH East Worcestershire Ravens enjoyed their most successful ever launch night last Friday at Hopwood Park.
The event was a brilliant start to the club’s tenth anniversary season as two of the sponsors – teachers’ union NASUWT and Focal Image.co.uk – came along to present cheques.
It was also announced that two new members of Ravens’ coaching staff are both ex-England Lionhearts players, as well the best news of all that the new club president is Newcastle Thunders coach and World Club Challenge winner Stanley Gene.
A club spokesperson said: “The season is starting as we mean to go on and we could not be happier with our amazing support as normal.”
