REDDITCH Golf Club has been chosen to host a top tournament which will see promising professional golfers battling to qualify for the Northern Ireland Open.
The Northern Ireland pre-qualifying day will be staged over the Lower Grinsty Lane course on Monday, May 18 and the event provides a chance to win a place at this prestigious European Challenge Tour date.
Club captain Nigel Clay said: “This is a fantastic opportunity for Redditch Golf Club and will allow our members and their guests to watch some of the UK’s top professional golfers trying to gain entry to the European Challenge Tour as they attempt to pre-qualify for just two precious invitations for the Northern Ireland Open.”
The club is also offering major sponsorship opportunities to local businesses seeking to build their brand, raise their profile and promote their products and services.
Club marketing chairman Stuart Mee said: “We have a range of sponsorship opportunities, including the top package which also provides the sponsor with the opportunity to exhibit and promote themselves at the Northern Ireland Open, which runs from August 6-9 at Galgorm Castle Golf Club in Ballymena, County Antrim.”
