A DEPLETED Redditch RFC lost 35-6 away at Birmingham Exiles to suffer a fourth consecutive league defeat.
The Kingfishers failed to score a try as Will Spires kicked two penalties at Old Damson Lane with the Kingfishers unable to name any substitutes due to unavailability.
And the result means Redditch sit 10th in the Counties 4 Midlands West (South) table.
The Kingfishers played with a squad containing 11 forwards as Birmingham ran in three first-half tries despite the best efforts of Rory Allen at full back.
Spires slotted two penalties to keep Redditch in the contest only for a number of injuries to halt the away side’s comeback attempt.
Redditch lost Dexi Derrick to a shoulder injury, Dan Oscroft had his Achilles damaged, Spires sustained a dislocated finger and Kyle Allen turned his ankle.
The Exiles ran in two more converted tries in the second half and, after both teams lost players to injury, the referee called time early after consulting with the two captains.
Redditch are next in action against Bishops Castle and Onny Valley on Saturday, November 9.
