REDDITCH RFC lost 33-12 at home to Stourport as the Kingfishers slipped to a third consecutive league defeat.
Tries from Dan Oscroft and Jon Beale kept the home side in the game before the visitors ran in three second-half tries at Bromsgrove Road.
The result means Redditch sit ninth in the Counties 4 Midlands West (South) table.
Stourport ran in two tries in the opening quarter to take a 14-point lead as Redditch failed to capitalise on their early territory.
The Kingfishers responded before the break when Oscroft powered his way to the line and Will Spires converted.
And Redditch picked up where they left off after the interval as Beale finished off a flowing team move to cut the deficit to two points.
However, Stourport produced a clinical second half performance to convert three chances from as many opportunities into tries to take the game out of the home side’s reach.
Redditch are next in action against Birmingham Exiles on Saturday, October 26 with kick-off at 3pm at Old Damson Lane.
