LODGE Farmers remain unbeaten in the Redditch Skittles League following a comfortable victory against Jumbo Jet Set.
The unbeaten league leaders were not at their best but still took each of the first three legs to take a 12-pin lead.
A score of 54 proved enough to win leg four by a single pin as Jumbo Jets failed to take advantage.
And Lodge Farmers clinched victory after needing just 45 pins in the final leg as Glyn Morley (37), Andy Whittle (35) and Tim Jones (33) top scored for the victors.
For Jumbo Jets, Dave Badsey (34), Rob Quartly (33) and Darren Summers (32) all impressed.
Elsewhere, The Borough remain winless as they quickly feel 18 points adrift of Engineers in the first leg of their game.
Engineers clinched the second leg by a single pin only to share leg three as both teams registered a score of 71 pins.
However, Engineers won leg four by 10 pins and easily made the 34 pins required in the final leg to win the game.
For Engineers, Ian Greenway (40), Craig Sears (39) and Brandon Kelso (38) top scored while Scott Few (39, 13 stack), Steven Mears (37) and Michelle Court (36) all impressive for The Borough.
Lastly, Nomads returned to winning ways in a back-and-forth contest against C and G Show.
Nomads won the first two legs to open up a 14-pin lead before C and G Show reduced the deficit to five pins after winning legs three and four.
However, Nomads scored 66 pins in the final leg with C and G Show unable to score the 72 pins required for victory.
For Nomads, Eddie Upright and Mac Eaton (both 36), Alan Cummings (34, 10 stack) and Andrew Coombes (34) top scored.
And Angela Guest (41, 15 stack), Paul Hollis (35) and Keith Edward (32) all impressed for C and G Show.
