LEAGUE leaders Lodge Farmers maintained their perfect record in this season’s Redditch Skittles League.
The Farmers lost the first leg of their clash with Nomads but took the next three legs to open up a 23-pin lead.
Nomads won the final leg but Lodge Farmers ran out comfortable winners to secure a ninth successive victory.
For Lodge Farmers, Rachel Morris (42), Tim Jones (40) and Glyn Morley (36) top scored while James Marshal, Mac Eaton and Alan Cummings (all 35) impressed for Nomads.
Elsewhere, Bernie’s Bolts returned to winning ways against The Borough who played with a man short.
The Borough took a consolation half point when matching the Bolts’ discounted score in leg three.
However, the Bolts eased to victory after opening up a 16-pin lead in leg one and extending the winning margin over the next two legs.
For the Bolts, Andy Gill-Smith (35), Craig and Lewis McSweeney and Jim Williamson (all 32) top scored while Charlie Few (35), Steve Court (31) and Julian Workman (30) all impressed for The Borough.
