REDDITCH Taekwondo Club are celebrating after five of its members took their black belt gradings with great success.
Students Kisandu Hapuarachchi, Kai Evans, Sarah Shepard and Calvin Matthews all achieved their first Dan grades after performing well on the day to impress the examiners.
And head instructor Amy Ridgard passed her grading to achieve her fifth Dan and cap an excellent showing from the Redditch club.
Ridgard said: “It isn’t often that students have the opportunity to see their instructor take an international grading, it was surreal to know my students were watching me perform.”
