A SMALL team of students from Redditch Taekwondo Club won 12 medals competing at an inter-club competition in the West Midlands.

The event took place in Sutton Coldfield as brother and sister duo Andrei and Adelina both won three medals apiece.

The siblings both won two bronze medals and one silver across their respective events.

Club black belt and assistant instructor Sarah won silver and bronze in her categories.

And Imogen won patterns gold and sparring silver while nine-year-old Charlie won double gold in sparring and special technique.

For his special technique performance, Charlie kicked a target around a foot above his head in his first competitive outing.

The club’s head instructor, Miss Ridgard said: “I couldn’t be prouder of all of their performances, it was a perfect start to the year for our club.

“I can’t wait to see what they can all achieve in 2026.”
