REDDITCH-born tennis player Lloyd Glasspool is aiming to reach the men’s doubles final at Wimbledon later today.

Glasspool and fellow Brit Julian Cash have reached the semi-finals at SW19.

The British pair will play Spaniard Marcel Granollers and Argentine Horacio Zeballos on Court One at 4.20pm for a place in the final.

Glasspool and Cash are seeded fifth with Granollers and Zeballos seeded fourth.

The winners will play unseeded pair David Pel and Rinky Hijikata in the final.

Glasspool and Cash beat defending men’s double champions Henry Patten and Harri Heliovaara in the quarter-finals.

The pair have dropped just one set en route to reaching the last four.

Glasspool is aiming to reach the final of a major competition for the first time.

The 31-year-old has reached the quarter-finals of all four majors in doubles but has never progressed past the semi-final stage.
