WHITE Hart have booked their place in the last four of the Heart of England Thursday Cup after a well earned 139-126 victory over The Valley.
The Redditch club had five winning cards from Stephen Turner (21-10), Paul Matthews (21-11), Gary Bennett (21-13), Ray Richards (21-19) and captain Ian Humphreys (21-10).
The three HoE league games all ended in defeat for Hart.
In Division One of the Thursday League, the A team were beaten at home to RABL by 159-118 despite having three winners.
Ray Richards (21-18), Tim Hollingshead (21-17) and Paul Matthews (21-19) with Stephen Turner, Mick Perrins and Kirk Wright all recording respectable double-figure scores.
The B team suffered a heavy 165-116 defeat to Henley A in Division Four where Dave Edwards (21-18) was their only winner.
In Division One of the HoE Over-60s League, the A team were beaten 126-89 by Kings Norton and failed to provide a winner.
They now slip to ninth place in the table but are still 14 points away from the relegation zone.
In Division Two, the B team were disappointingly beaten at home by Borunville Sports A by 120-95.
Kirk Wright (21-16) and Mick Perrins (21-20) were the only winners for Hart.
In the SW Birmingham Tuesday Over 60s League Division One, the A team went down at Wythall A by 120-80 only one winning card from Ray Richards (21-15).
The B team also lost at home to Woodbourne by 100-91 in Division Three.
Elsewhere, in the Northfield and District Sunday League, the A team were soundly beaten 146-96 at The Valley.
Hart’s winning cards came from Paul Matthews (21-17), Mike Estell (21-7) and Tim Hollingshead (21-17).
Despite defeat, Hart still currently occupy a promotion place in Division Two with five games left to play.
