JAPANESE professional wrestling superstar Ben-K will team up with Tiger Ali to take on WWE multi-champion Brian Kendrick and Saime Sahin at Arrow Vale Sports Centre in Redditch this weekend.
The tag team main event match will headline Dawn of the Kingdom 2024, a supershow promoted by British Kingdom Pro Wrestling.
Ben-K of Dragon Gate – one of Japan’s most prestigious promotions – is a former Open the Dream Gate Champion (Dragon Gate’s top title). He will tag with Tiger Ali, a multiple-time British Kingdom Heavyweight Champion.
They will face the team of Brian Kendrick who is a former WWE Cruiserweight, WWE Tag Team Champion, and (interim) WWE Champion – and his tag team partner Saime Sahin, a fan favourite and himself a multi-time Heavyweight Champion.
Dawn of the Kingdom 2024 will also feature Dragon Gate star Mochizuki Jr defending the hugely prestigious British Kingdom Pro Wrestling Junior Heavyweight Championship.
The title has a remarkable lineage, held by global superstars such as Pete Dunne (who competed at WrestleMania earlier this year) and AEW’s Kenny Omega.
In Redditch, Mochizuki Jr will also defend the title against the former champion of PROGRESS (one of the UK’s leading promotions) Chris Ridgeway.
In a hard hitting heavyweight action, The ‘English Lion’ Eddie Ryan of NXT UK will take on ‘Ironclad’ Curt Atlas, and JD Knight will face Jordan Sparkes.
