REDDITCH United secured back-to-back wins for the second time this season with a 2-0 victory against Long Eaton United.
After a goalless first half, Ryan Wollacott and Reece Flanagan both found the net in the space of four second-half minutes to secure the points for Matt Clarke’s side at the Valley Stadium.
And the result means Redditch sit fourth in the Southern League Premier Central table.
The Reds took the lead on 53 minutes when Wollacott prodded home at the back post from Aram Soleman’s floated free-kick.
And the home side doubled their advantage on 57 minutes after AJ George drew a foul in the box and Flanagan confidently dispatched the resulting penalty into the bottom right corner.
Redditch are next in action at home to Leamington on Saturday, October 7 in the FA Trophy with kick-off at 3pm at the Valley Stadium.
